Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 14, 2026
1. Who is responsible for your information
Wildplaygames Ltd, Level 1, The Centre, Tigné Point, Sliema TPO 0001, Malta, is responsible for the personal information processed through wildplaygames.com and the Wildplaygames game. This means we decide why personal information is used and how it is handled. Our data protection contact is Antonia Ramírez, who can be reached at [email protected].
Because Wildplaygames Ltd is established in the European Union, our handling of personal information is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Maltese data protection law. We also make the Game available to users in Canada and apply the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where relevant. If different privacy rules apply to the same information, we aim to follow the standard that provides stronger protection for you.
2. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we may collect, the reasons we use it, the legal grounds that allow us to process it, who may receive it, how long it is kept, and the rights and choices available to you. It applies to the Wildplaygames website, the Game, customer support, cookies, and our marketing activities.
3. Information we may collect
- Account information: your email address, username, password stored as a cryptographic hash, age confirmation, and account creation date.
- Gameplay information: your virtual coin balance, games played, spins, session activity, bonuses received, and selected in-game settings.
- Technical information: your IP address, approximate location derived from that address such as country or region, browser type, device type, operating system, language, and referring page.
- Cookies and similar technologies: identifiers used to support login sessions, remember age confirmation, understand site traffic, and measure advertising performance. More information is provided in section 8.
- Support correspondence: messages you send to us and the replies or records connected with those requests.
Wildplaygames is free to use and does not process payments, so we do not collect payment card details. We also do not intentionally collect special categories of personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 19.
4. Why we use your information
We use personal information only where we have a clear reason and a valid legal basis to do so. Depending on the purpose, this may include performing our agreement with you, meeting a legal obligation, pursuing a legitimate business interest, or acting with your consent.
- To create and manage your account and save progress — necessary to provide the Service you request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To provide the 2,000-coin welcome bonus and other bonuses, and identify duplicate accounts or misuse — necessary to perform our agreement and support our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- To confirm that users meet the minimum age requirement — based on our legitimate interest in operating an adults-only service and complying with applicable requirements (Art. 6(1)(f) and (c)).
- To protect the Service and investigate misuse — including fraud prevention, automated activity detection, and investigation of possible breaches of our Terms (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To provide customer support — so we can respond to questions, account issues, or service requests (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To understand how the Game is used and improve it — based on consent for analytics cookies and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in aggregated statistics (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f)).
- To measure and improve advertising performance, including Google Ads campaigns — where you have provided consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- To comply with legal obligations — including responding to lawful requests from authorities where required (Art. 6(1)(c)).
For users in Canada, these purposes are also supported by consent under PIPEDA. Depending on the type of information and the reason it is being used, that consent may be express or implied.
5. Withdrawing your consent
Where we rely on consent, you may change your mind at any time. You can manage analytics and advertising cookies through the cookie controls on the website, adjust marketing preferences through Settings, or contact us at [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier processing unlawful. In some cases, certain information is necessary for us to provide the Service, so withdrawing consent may mean that some features or your account can no longer remain available.
6. Who we may share information with
We do not sell your personal information. Where necessary, we may share limited information with trusted service providers that process data on our behalf and under contractual obligations. These may include:
- hosting, infrastructure, and technical service providers;
- analytics providers that help us understand how the Game and website are used;
- advertising platforms, including Google, where needed to measure and improve campaigns;
- email delivery providers used for service and account communications;
- professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, or other authorities where disclosure is legally required.
These organisations are permitted to use information only for the purposes for which it was provided or as otherwise required by law.
7. International transfers
Wildplaygames Ltd is based in Malta, and we aim to store personal information within the European Economic Area where practical. Some service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on an applicable adequacy decision or, where necessary, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with additional safeguards.
For Canadian users, this means personal information may be processed outside Canada and may become subject to the laws of the country where it is stored or processed. Courts, law enforcement agencies, or national security authorities in that country may have lawful access to the information. You may contact [email protected] if you would like more information about the safeguards we use or where information is processed.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to support important features such as keeping you signed in and remembering your age confirmation. These cookies may be placed without consent where permitted by law because they are required for the Service to function properly.
Analytics and advertising cookies are optional and are used only after you give permission through our cookie controls. You can update or withdraw your choice at any time. Your browser settings also allow you to block or remove cookies, although doing so may affect some website features.
9. How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected or where a longer period is required by law. Account and gameplay information is normally kept while your account remains active. After an account is closed, or after 36 months of inactivity, that information is deleted or anonymised unless certain records must be retained for legal, regulatory, or dispute-related purposes.
Support correspondence is generally retained for 24 months, while technical logs are normally retained for 12 months.
10. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, or loss. These measures include encryption while data is being transmitted, cryptographically hashed passwords, role-based access controls, and monitoring for suspicious or unauthorised activity.
No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs and is likely to create a risk to your rights, we will notify the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta within 72 hours where required. If the risk is considered high, we will also notify affected users directly. For Canadian users, qualifying breaches will also be reported to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where there is a real risk of significant harm.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you and provide access to it;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your account and related personal information where legally permitted;
- restrict certain processing or object where processing is based on legitimate interests;
- provide eligible information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format or transfer it to another controller where applicable;
- withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing.
To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We aim to respond within one month, and within 30 days for Canadian requests. Routine privacy requests are generally handled without charge. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We do not make decisions about you solely through automated processing where those decisions would produce legal or similarly significant effects.
12. Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, we encourage you to contact us first so we can review the issue. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may submit a complaint to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta at idpc.org.mt. Canadian users may instead contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca or, where applicable, the privacy regulator responsible for their province.
13. Information about minors
Wildplaygames is intended for adults aged 19 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone below that age. If you believe that someone under 19 has created an account or provided personal information to us, please contact [email protected] so we can investigate, close the account where appropriate, and delete the relevant information.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, legal obligations, or privacy practices change. The current version will remain available at wildplaygames.com/privacy together with its effective date. Where a change is significant, registered users will be notified before the updated policy takes effect.
15. Contact us
